Koala Cuddles At Cleland Wildlife Park

An early morning tour - Wednesday 23rd February

Early in the morning when the air is fresh, the bush comes to life - what better time to discover the delights of Australia's wildlife.

Cleland Wildlife Park, set in the Adelaide Hills surrounded by gum trees, houses many Australian marsupials and is an ideal place to enjoy an early morning guided walk with a specialist guide. An alfresco breakfast will follow your walk.

Vineyards, Olive Groves And The Sea

A Full Day Tour - Friday 25th February

Perhaps one of South Australia's best-kept secrets is picturesque McLaren Vale, where vineyards, almond orchards and olive groves all grow within sight of the sea. The region is known for its wonderful Shiraz which is grown in many family-owned boutique wineries. As well as the wine, this wonderful Mediterranean climate has encouraged the development of almond orchards and olive groves.

Your tour could include:

  • A tasting at a number of the outstanding family owned boutique wineries, such as Coriole, Wirra Wirra, d'Arenbergs, Fox Creek and Hugh Hamilton's
  • A private and informed tasting at one of the above mentioned wineries
  • Tastings of local almonds at the Almond Train and a visit to the Gallery of David Dridan, a well known Australian landscape artist
  • A lunch in a vineyard setting, which showcases the skills of innovative chefs using the superb fresh regional produce
  • A specialist wine guide

A Day In The Barossa Valley

This day reflects the "Best of the Barossa". Wineries, gardens and galleries are mixed together with a backdrop of rolling hills and enriched by the hospitality and traditions of the German heritage.

Just one hour's scenic drive from Adelaide, the Barossa, renowned for producing some of the best table wines is also one of the most picturesque parts of South Australia.

  • A visit to Malcolm Creek Vineyard and garden for morning tea with the Tolleys and a private wine tasting
  • A spectacular view of the Valley from Menglars Hill
